As per a news agency, Biden is examining student loan forgiveness for anyone who earns less than $125,000 per year.

Under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program, government or non-profit organisation employees may be eligible for loan forgiveness.

If you teach full-time in a low-income elementary or secondary for five academic years, you may be eligible for loan forgiveness or FFEL Program loans.

Eligible candidates have to fill up the form of Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) & Temporary Expanded PSLF (TEPSLF) Certification & Application (PSLF Form).

The form is available on studentaid.gov.

After filling up, you can post it to the US Department of Education directly.

You may be eligible for a federal student loan discharge if your school closes while you're enrolled or shortly after you withdraw.

Due to the death of the borrower or the student on whose behalf a PLUS loan was taken out, federal student loans will be discharged.

Last month, the White House cancelled a $17 billion student loan.

More than 400,000 students with total and permanent disabilities (TPD) will get $7.8 billion in loan forgiveness.
