This July 50 senators requested SBA chief Isabella Casillas to reopen EIDL.

SBA just sent out a reminder that the deadline for small businesses in eight Texas counties to qualify for EIDL is quickly approaching.

August 22 is the last date for the key counties of Camp, Franklin, Hopkins, Knox, Titus, Upshur, and Wood.

Primary counties Fisher, Jones, and Scurry must submit their applications by August 15.

For COVID EIDL loan modifications and increases, the SBA set a request deadline for May 6, 2022.

The EIDL initiative has given nearly 4 million small companies vital relief.

"The program is too important to shut down prematurely", senators pen the letter for SBA.

The COVID EIDL program has given out more than $351 billion since its establishment.

From January 1, 2022, US SBA no longer approved requests for new COVID EIDL loans or advances.
